As a Junior Business Development Specialist, you will support the execution of the local sales strategy for the ALL Markets that we operate on and support the sales plan to grow the existing base of clients. MAIN REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Economics/Finance degree preferred);
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience in a similar position;
  • Perfect knowledge of the Financial Markets (incl. but not limited to FX, CFDs and Cash Equities);
  • Proven track record of sales leads and deals in the FOREX industry;
  • Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook);

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

MAIN DUTIES

  • Support the company’s global sales hub and team in order to maximise new business development opportunities;
  • Grow the company’s base of client and partner relationships, primarily through Institutional Sales;
  • Facilitate the sales and pricing process to achieve the Company’s profit objectives by generating trading activity; and maximize new business development opportunities;

SALES DUTIES

  • Develop, maintain and improve business relations with institutional accounts;
  • Establish a trusted advisor status with existing client and partner relationships and the ability to influence key decision makers by inspiring confidence in winning new institutional accounts;
  • Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors;
  • Prospect the company’s target client and partner databases as well as own personal network of clients and partners to represent the company’s product offering mix;
  • Support the sales process through closure, and once close manage the day-to-day account management of the institutional accounts;
  • Cross-sell relationship improvement opportunities to existing clients and partners by providing pertinent update information to various divisions of the company, including Prime Brokerage, Asset Management, FX Delivery and IT Solutions;
  • Maintain periodic contact with and act as a constant liaison between clients and partners and the rest of the company for various activities (e.g. setting up accounts, facilitating transactions, etc.);
  • Represent the company at conferences, trade fairs and networking events.

PARTNERSHIP DEVELOPMENT

  • Research and communication with potential partners of the Employer;
  • Preparation of partnership documentation;
  • Establishment of proper back-office set-up for the partners;
  • Service current partners, answering their questions or complaints, providing them with additional materials and information;
  • Maintaining a partnership database;
  • Reporting to Managing Director and Branch Manager of the Madrid Branch.

COMMUNICATION & REPORTING

  • Build positive and effective internal relationships, with Management, Brokerage, Research, Operation, Marketing, Customer Support and Sales departments;
  • Maintain a high level of integrity, honesty, diligence and loyalty.

AD-HOC DUTIES

  • Carry out specific projects and research;
  • Carry out background research and presenting findings;
  • Involved in decision-making processes;
  • Any other duties as assigned by Management.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintaining, improving and modernizing our existing websites
  • Developing solutions for data storage and database connections between our websites and intranet

  • Writing well-structured and easy maintainable code.

SKILLS REQUIRED:
